Your planningOur school camp is an ideal opportunity for students to discover, interpret, reflect, make observations, solve problems, work together, make new friends, build their independence and most of all to have fun. We hope that each teacher's expereince of school camp will also be a satisfying one. Your participation and enthusiasm are vital components to the success of the camp. The role of the visiting teacherVisiting teachers are the essentiel component of each school camp's success. The teachers decide about the sorts of activities and outcomes they want for their students. We make every effort to help make visiting teachers comfortable and encourage them to make the most of any opportunities to have fun. Teacher to student ratio: Schools need to send at least one teacher or other staff member for every 20 students attending Sweetdale Camp. Our staff will introduce you to all the facilities and activities you can do with your students on your own. Sweetdale staff will provide you with the relevant study sheets and assist you where ever necessary. Leadership courses and projects will be organized and held together with the teachers. During free time, visiting teachers are responsible for supervising students during these periods and are asked to take the meals together with the students. Teachers are also responsible for students during the night in the dormitories.
DurationSchool camps can vary up from two days in duration depending on the school's needs.
