The focus for school camps is the development of social skills and independence. An activity program promotes active and healthy lifestyles, introduces students to outdoor and environmental education, and is adaptable to suit each group's needs.

What is a Team Building Rope Course?

A Team Building Rope Course is a series of obstacles constructed of various types of materials to provide challenges to individuals or groups. The different high-rope elements include for instance the High-Rope Course, Jacob’s Ladder, Abseiling, Zip-Line, Burma Bridge, Matterhorn and Climbing Tower. The different low-rope elements include the Low-Rope Course, Zulu-Walk, Time-Square, Rescue, Banana Swing, Confidence Course, Sweetdale Balance, Acid River, Swiss Cross, Burning House, Free Fall, Tyre-Lift, Tyre-shuffle, Bamboo Wall, Spider Web, Leonardo’s bridges etc.

These activities all have goals and outcomes such as enhancing communication skills, leadership skills, teamwork, perseverance, to never give up, self-esteem, self-confidence, group-bonding, sense of responsibility, autonomy, patience, endurance, etc. All programs are designed to meet the outcomes from Key Learning Areas, through activities suitable for all grades. Timeframe: The activities are generally scheduled in 2 hours sessions, one camp day being composed of four 2 hours-sessions, two in the morning and two in the afternoon.
